The questionnaire applied investigated the perception that the interviewees had on this subject, how noise pollution affected their health, what types of noise bothered them the most, and in which areas the noise was greatest. The data collected showed that the majority (83%) of those interviewed remained aware of noise pollution. Likewise, 92% of those interviewed were aware of noise pollution and 94% felt uncomfortable with the noise at the fair. Lack of concentration, headache and irritability, lack of sleep, earache, etc. were the reactions caused by noise most reported by interviewees. When questioned, the interviewees were willing to undergo an audiometry exam, thus enabling their hearing health to be assessed, however they wanted this exam to be carried out right there at the Bragança Free Market. According to the evaluation of the data collected in the research, it was certified that the interviewees are clear and sensitive when it comes to noise pollution and warn that it is causing problems to their health. Visto que a poluição sonora é considerada a segunda maior forma de poluição, este trabalho analisou a percepção dos ocupantes da Feira Livre da cidade de Bragança (Pará) em relação a este problema ambiental. O questionário aplicado buscou investigar a percepção que os entrevistados tinham sobre tal assunto, como a poluição sonora afetava a sua saúde, quais eram os tipos de ruídos que mais lhe incomodavam, em qual pontos os ruídos eram maiores. Os dados coletados mostraram que a maioria (83%) dos entrevistados tinham consciência ambiental em relação a poluição sonora. Da mesma maneira, os (92%) dos entrevistados tinham percepção do que seria a poluição sonora e a pesar de frequentarem o local todos os dias, (94%) se sentiam incomodados com os ruídos na feira. Falta de concentração, dor de cabeça e irritabilidade, falta de sono, dor de ouvido, etc foram a reações provocadas pelos ruídos mais relatadas pelos entrevistados. Quando questionados os entrevistados mostraram-se dispostos a realizar um exame de audiometria, desse modo possibilitando avaliar sua saúde auditiva, no entanto eles queriam que este exame fosse realizado ali mesmo, na Feira Livre de Bragança.
