The perception of Culture, in Librarianship, is observed as being one of the mechanisms of human interaction and expression. In this sense, the Librarian, as a cultural agent, becomes a mediator of information and interactions that facilitate the relationship between the user and knowledge. For this reason, the study aims to analyze the Librarian's perception of the topic Culture and its influence on library activities carried out at Usinas da Paz. The location chosen for the research is Usinas da Paz in the Metropolitan Region of Belém , in the State of Pará. The methodology used in the research, in addition to the bibliographic review, was the case study, where it was possible to use the technique of direct observation, as well as a structured interview that includes six specific questions regarding
the understanding and application of the theme Culture, and observations regarding the development of Culture in the Plants. As a result, it appears that it is necessary to focus not only on information processing techniques in Librarianship, but it is also essential to look at the managerial training of the Librarian as a social agent
