In this sense, the Librarian, as a cultural agent, becomes a mediator of information and interactions that facilitate the relationship between the user and knowledge. For this reason, the study aims to analyze the Librarian's perception of the topic Culture and its influence on library activities carried out at Usinas da Paz. The location chosen for the research is Usinas da Paz in the Metropolitan Region of Belém , in the State of Pará. The methodology used in the research, in addition to the bibliographic review, was the case study, where it was possible to use the technique of direct observation, as well as a structured interview that includes six specific questions regarding the understanding and application of the theme Culture, and observations regarding the development of Culture in the Plants. As a result, it appears that it is necessary to focus not only on information processing techniques in Librarianship, but it is also essential to look at the managerial training of the Librarian as a social agent A percepção sobre Cultura, na Biblioteconomia, é observada como sendo um dos mecanismos de interação e expressão humana. Neste sentido, o Bibliotecário, enquanto agente cultural, passa a ser mediador de informações e dessas interações que facilitam a relação entre o usuário e o conhecimento. Por esta razão, o estudo objetiva analisar a percepção do(a) Bibliotecário(a) acerca da temática Cultura e sua influência nas atividades biblioteconômicas realizadas nas Usinas da Paz. O local escolhido para a pesquisa são as Usinas da Paz na Região Metropolitana de Belém, no Estado do Pará. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa, além da revisão bibliográfica, foi o estudo de caso, onde foi possível utilizar a técnica da observação direta, bem como entrevista estruturada que inclui seis perguntas específicas quanto ao entendimento e aplicação da temática Cultura, e das observações quanto ao desenvolvimento da Cultura nas Usinas.
