Fifty high school students from Escola Maestro Waldemar Henrique, located in the neighborhood of Benguí in Belém do Pará, participated in this study. For data collection, a questionnaire and interviews were carried out together with the students. The difficulties studied in this research were lack of interest, lack of motivation from parents or guardians, finding mathematics difficult and distraction in the classroom. And in the analysis of the questionnaire and during the interviews it was observed that the four difficulties studied in this work were pointed out by the students, where there was a greater number of students indicating that finding mathematics difficult and distraction in the classroom are the difficulties that most affect the understanding of mathematical teaching during classes. And using the theoretical framework of this work, we can indicate as a proposal the application of mathematical games during classes, in addition to presenting to students the applications that the subjects studied in the classroom have in their daily lives, also showing the fundamental importance that These themes have for the sciences, in their different levels of application. Esta é uma pesquisa de abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa com fins exploratório e descritivo e procedimentos de pesquisa de campo, utilizando-se da análise textual discursiva na análise e interpretação dos dados e teve como objetivo geral identificar as causas das dificuldades enfrentadas por alunos do ensino médio para compreenderem o ensino matemático. Participaram desse estudo, 50 alunos do ensino médio da Escola Maestro Waldemar Henrique, localizada no bairro do Benguí em Belém do Pará. Para a coleta de dados, foi utilizado como instrumento um questionário e a realização de entrevistas juntamente com os alunos. As dificuldades estudadas nesta pesquisa, tendo como norte o que diz a literatura, foram: o desinteresse, a falta de motivação dos pais ou responsáveis, achar a matemática difícil e a distração em sala de aula. E na análise do questionário e durante as entrevistas observou-se que as quatro dificuldades estudadas neste trabalho foram apontadas pelos alunos, onde houve um maior número de alunos indicando que, achar a matemática difícil e a distração em sala de aula são as dificuldades que mais afetam a compreensão do ensino matemático durante as aulas. E que mediante ao referencial teórico deste trabalho, podemos indicar como proposta, a aplicação de jogos matemáticos durante as aulas, além de apresentar para os discentes as aplicações que os assuntos estudados em sala têm em seus dia-a-dias, mostrando também a importância fundamental que estes temas tem para as ciências, em seus diversos níveis de aplicação. 2025-01-21T12:59:28Z 2025-01-21T12:59:28Z 2023 Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - Artigo SILVA, Jefferson Pedro Silva e .
