The theoretical references are based, principally, in Anthropology of Dance, Ritual Ethnology, Performance Studies and Anthropology of Expirience, epistemological fields that north the interpretation of this dancing culture. The historical approach (diachronic) describes the cultural matrixes of creation and affirmation of Sacred Circle Dance, in the world and in Brazil; while the anthropological approach (synchronic) analyses and interprets socio-cultural elements and aspects constitutive of the “circle”, identified from the “participating-observation” and from the “observation-participating” of the researcher, in her direct contact with the practical culture. O presente trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa histórico-etnográfica da “roda” de Danças Circulares dos Povos do Instituto Ocara (IO), tal como costumava ser praticada no Instituto de Artes do Pará (IAP), em Belém, no ano de 2010. Os referenciais teóricos baseiam-se, principalmente, na Antropologia da Dança, na Etnologia Ritual, nos Estudos da Performance e na Antropologia da Experiência, campos epistemológicos que nortearam a interpretação desta cultura dançante. A abordagem histórica (diacrônica) descreve as matrizes culturais de criação e afirmação das Danças Circulares Sagradas, no mundo e no Brasil; enquanto a abordagem antropológica (sincrônica) analisa e interpreta elementos e aspectos socioculturais constitutivos da “roda”, identificáveis a partir da “observação-participante” e da “participação-observante” da pesquisadora, em seu contato direto com a cultura praticante. 2018-10-09T16:40:05Z 2018-10-09T16:40:05Z 2011-06-20 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação TABORDA, Monike Christina.
