The current work studied the effect of the anisotropy in the step of analysis of seismic
data processing speed for VTI media. A comparative analysis was performed between
equations of correction isotropic and anisotropic normal moveout using an anisotropic
synthetic data. The unix seismic free package was used for the realization of the
speeds analysis step, then made up graphs that describe anisotropy behavior as a
function of the source-receiver distance. That allowed concluded that small distance
from source-receiver there was no influence of anisotropy in the retification of data.
However for big distance from source-receiver is necessary the incorporation of anisotropy.
In this way, this work is a form of quantification the residual moveout. |
