Analysis of the modality of distance education for Federal public higher education of librarianship, as alternative educational path in the process of democratization of Brazilian education. For that, an exploratory and bibliographical research was carried out, with a qualitative approach that allowed to reflect on Distance Education, based on the concepts that based the study of the EAD, as well as its historical evolution, besides the importance of the use of ICTs for this modality of teaching. From the analysis of the research, it was possible to perceive the importance of distance learning in librarianship and its reflexes in the educational life of students who did not have the opportunity in traditional teaching. In addition, they will bring impacts that will neutralize the situation of allocating teachers at the end of their careers, in libraries, providing more qualified professionals in the labor market, besides increasing the number of professionals in the country, in the public and private sectors, contributing to promote strong Improvement in general education, as well as enforcing what was established in Law 12244/2010. In general, Distance Education has become a new pedagogical model of teaching, to meet an increasingly growing demand both nationally and internationally, in order to meet the new educational requirements of society. Finally, it is pointed out that this new pedagogical proposal will contribute to the increase of vacancies in Federal public universities, as well as to help in the process of democratization in Brazilian Education. |
