The existence of indications of a modern form of settlement that, with legality, imprisons family farmers, inserted in palm oil projects, to the debts with the companies and financial institutions fomenting of rural credit, being restrained, restricting their freedom of locomotion and of more active participation in the market. It is therefore necessary to ask: what measures can be taken to increase the autonomy of these farmers, making them less vulnerable to situations of precariousness. This is a relevant and current theme, especially at a time when Brazil undergoes a profound restructuring and subtraction of labor rights and historical social achievements. |
