Considering the use of technology for educational purposes, a project was developed
to help students learn, in order to understand and learn more about Ecology with a
focus on the Amazon Biome, through a model composed of 3D printed animals. The
objective of the UARANÁ project is development application, through the camera, to
recognize the image of animals produced by 3D printers and from there to provide
extra information about the recognized animal, with images, texts and videos defined
by the author of the model. For this, research was carried out to identify the
possibility of developing this application using mobile technologies. Thus, using the
incremental and iterative approach of the RUP (Rational Unified Process) project
development model, a project was developed with an image classification model
trained on the Teachable Machine to perform image recognition, being possible to
query registered information about the objects in a database. Resulting in obtaining a
mobile application for recognizing animals printed in 3D, which through the graphical
interface returns information about the animals of the Amazon Biome. |
