Resumo:
The Professional Master’s course has a characteristic that culminates with the requirement of a product that establishes a devolutive between academia and society in general. This is based on the regulations issued by CAPES and included in the regulations of professional masters. To this end, the product named as the Revised Proposal of the Menu of the Libras Discipline is the result of the research titled “Initial Teacher Training: Contribution of the Pries Discipline for the Future Teachers of Basic Education” developed in the Professional Master’s Course, in the area of Education, offered By the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas, in the period between 2015 and 2016.Thus, the proposal is aimed at Higher Education Institutions that offer undergraduate courses, in order to propose updating of the content and timetable of the Libras discipline, in order to contemplate the practical and empirical activities in the schools contributing to the improvement in the initial formation of teacher. The proposal was based on the answers attributed through the instruments applied, which evidenced the need for content revision and, consequently, an increase in the hours of the Libras discipline, so that future teachers could have adequate training to work with deaf students Included in the common rooms of the basic education system, without disregarding the number of hours required for practical application. In this way, the product in question is available for use, albeit as a preliminary analysis, to, after proving its relevance, be definitively included as an integral part of the Pedagogical Project of the Degree Courses.
