Resumo:
Organizational culture refers to the beliefs and values that exist in an organization, where team beliefs and the predicted value of work influence attitudes and behaviors. This scientific article aimed to investigate the organizational culture and leadership profile in the public sector adopted based on the Parintins-AM Post Office. It was a case study of a bibliographical and participant nature. The survey subjects were 08 (eight) agency employees. The results showed that it is important to recognize the link between organizational culture and leadership, because as the superior leadership focuses on the development of the organization, this attention was recognized and the importance of the development activity was understood. The results showed that by utilizing employee development activities appropriately, they become another lever to be used by the transformational leader to overthrow the previous ineffective culture and replace it with a new one that supports and enhances the new organizational vision.
