The waste generated by the disposal of various types of electronic waste
significantly impacts the environment. In small electronic projects for didactic
purposes, the making of the tracks of a circuit on a phenolite board, are usually
produced by hand, through the corrosion process, using iron perchloride (FeCl3).
However, this solution has a considerably short lifespan and can be reused an
average of five times, having to be discarded, however, most of the time this disposal
is carried out in inappropriate places. And it is at this point that the present work is
inserted, which aims to propose the implementation of a system at the IFAM-CMDI,
which aims at the disposal and recovery of iron perchloride, so that it can be reused,
in order to avoid its inappropriately dumping into the environment. |
