This research aims to analyze how different management professionals with young people
in institutional care situation influence the socio affective links they can be formed. It was
developed in the Casa Mamãe Margarida, a philanthropic institution, with young women
aged 14 to 18 years and caregivers of at least six (6) months working in the house. It has
been as a theoretical socio-historical aspect, allowing to visualize the importance of sociocultural factors in imbricated relationship between social environment and individual.
Thus, it was traced a history of host institutions in Brazil and the parameters of the Statute
of Children and Adolescents, which establish legal ways to the care of abandoned
children. This research was conducted from a qualitative approach; using tools such as
semi-structured interviews, field diary and participant observation. The results were
analyzed from a hermeneutic dialectic of Minayo and the phenomenology study,
therefore, there was a similarity to respect the emotional relationships between young and
caretaker as well as committed actions to provide the children and adolescents
institutionalized a space for fostering of education and vocational training as well as
dialogue about the demands brought by the sheltered people. It is necessary for further
research, as there are internal and external important affective links to the institution,
aiming at the quality of the permanence of children and adolescents in situations of social
vulnerability |
