Maker culture can be one of those tools that, coupled with education, has a positive effect. The present work aims to describe how the culture maker can help in the process of teaching and learning. We carried out a bibliographical research to understand about this culture, its main aspects and how it can be inserted in the school environment. It was then proposed to build a mini peltier pellet refrigerator from the perspective maker, and at the time of construction and operation of this, identify the main physical concepts that can be developed with the students. The mini refrigerator after built, generated a satisfactory result, reducing the internal temperature by 20.4 ° C. We elaborate some questions about the construction, the functioning and the physical concepts that can be learned. Finally, we conclude that the work can act as a proposal for a rather efficient didactic approach. Em um cenário educacional composto de muitas dificuldades no que se diz respeito ao ensino/aprendizagem na disciplina de Física, a utilização de metodologias inovadoras é uma tendência a ser analisada para se obter um maior rendimento na disciplina. A cultura maker pode ser uma dessas ferramentas que, associada à educação, produza um efeito positivo. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo descrever como a cultura maker pode auxiliar no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Realizamos uma pesquisa bibliográfica para se entender sobre essa cultura, seus principais aspectos e de que forma pode ser inserida no ambiente escolar. Propôs-se então a construção de uma mini geladeira de pastilha peltier a partir da perspectiva maker, e no momento da construção e funcionamento desta, identificar os principais conceitos físicos que podem ser desenvolvidos com os alunos. A mini geladeira depois de construída, gerou um resultado satisfatório, diminuindo a temperatura interna em 20,4 ºC. Elaboramos alguns questionamentos envolvendo a construção, o funcionamento e os conceitos físicos que podem ser aprendidos.
