This study is about a research on, The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in high school. Where the methodological procedure was the research, based on data surveys with technological didactic resources and the textbook to help the classes. The objective of this work is to verify which didactic tool gives more support to the students in the classes, for the improvement of the teaching and learning. This makes classes more interesting and productive. The research was applied in July 2016 at the Plínio Ramos Coelho GM3 State School, in the Biology discipline, through questionnaires in two classes, to analyze how students use the technologies and textbook inside the classroom and the support that they provide to students. The classes were taught in two classes with the textbook and the technologies, a questionnaire was applied to both classes and then analyzed. Finally it was possible to conclude that the information and communication technologies, since well applied in the classroom, occupy a prominent place in the teaching
