Special education has gained prominence in today's world, both in the field of knowledge and
in the field of professional practice, because it is a specialized service for people with special
needs. Today, it is extremely important to use technological tools to assist in the education of
these students. In this sense, this paper aims to analyze computational technologies that can be
used at different levels of education as an aid to improve the learning process of special
education students. The research methodology adopted in this work was the Systematic
Mapping, as it provides an overview of a research area, identifying the amount, types of
searches performed, results available, and publication frequencies over time to identify trends.
As a result, 47 computer technologies were identified, of which 18 were available for public
access, that can be used for teaching-learning in special education, containing various syllabus
for the most different levels. These technologies are distributed in 8 different types of
disabilities: Visually Impaired; Autistic Spectrum Disorder; Down's Syndrome; Hearing
Deficiency; Special Educational Needs; Motor and Cognitive Disability; Physical and
Intellectual Disabilities. As a contribution, it is hoped that assistive technologies can assist
professionals working with people with special needs to facilitate inclusion in education. |
