With this, automation helps and make the processes more efficient. Therefore, this work aims to develop a Management System for Libraries of Itacoatiara - AM, aimed at a Public School of the Municipality. As for the methodology, we used: bibliographic survey, requirements analysis, implementation, system evaluation and finally, the implementation. From the usability analysis, it can be concluded that the SGBIT system is important to help the library management, since it optimizes the work making it more efficient, thus, it is believed that the SGBIT will be of great value. for those responsible for libraries in the public school system of the municipality of Itacoatiara - AM. As mudanças rotineiras no cenário tecnológico, provocam alterações nos hábitos da sociedade, uma vez que, com o avanço da tecnologia a competitividade entre as empresas ou setores de serviços aumentam, a fim de proporcionar, melhorias no trabalho ou nos serviços. Com isso, a automatização vem auxiliar e tornar mais eficientes os processos. Diante disso, este trabalho tem como objetivo desenvolver um Sistema Gerenciador para Bibliotecas do Município de Itacoatiara – AM, voltado para uma Escola Pública de Ensino do Município. Quanto a metodologia, utilizou-se: levantamento bibliográfico, analise de requisitos, implementação, avaliação do sistema e por fim, a implantação. A partir da análise de usabilidade, conclui-se que, o sistema SGBIT é importante para auxiliar a gestão das bibliotecas, uma vez que, otimiza o trabalho tornando-o mais eficiente, dessa forma, acredita-se que o SGBIT será de grande valia para os responsáveis das bibliotecas da rede pública de ensino do Município de Itacoatiara – AM. 3 ajustar a novas atualizações, com menos burocracia!
