The concept of Smart Cities is increasingly related to the efficient use of Information and Communication Technologies and the use of internet resources as a tool to improve the city's infrastructure and services, consequently bringing a better quality of life. In this sense, the objective of this work is to relate technologies in the context of Smart Cities that make use of the Internet of Things, describing the difficulties and benefits of its implementation. The research methodology in this work is based on the principles of Experimental Software Engineering which is based on the conduct of a secondary study: the Systematic Mapping. As a result, 13 technologies were identified in the literature, such as Big Data and Cloud Computing. As benefits we can mention reduction of energy consumption and monitoring of CO2 bases, and as difficulty the availability of internet anywhere in the city |
