Ichneumonidae is one of the largest families of Hymenoptera, with an estimated 60,000 described species, of which 17,000 occur in the Neotropical Region. Despite their high diversity, studies of the group are scarce in the Amazon region. Thus, the objective of this work was to perform the faunistic analysis of the Ichneumonidae subfamilies in an area of the Amazon Forest, and to present considerations about some genera. Two Malaise traps were installed in a forest area of Campus II of the Federal University of Amazonas - UFAM, in Itacoatiara, Amazonas. Weekly collections were made from November 2017 to January 2018. The sampled Hymenoptera were identified at the family and subfamily level, and subsequently referred to a specialist for gender level identification. It was used from Faunal Analysis to determine the main subfamilies. A total of 541 specimens of Ichneumonidae were collected, distributed in 16 subfamilies. The predominant subfamilies were Cryptinae, Orthocentrinae, Ichneumoninae and Pimplinae. It is worth mentioning the presence of Cremastinae and Campopleginae, which are important for the balance of natural populations, as well as indicators of degraded area. |
