Resumo:
The present research for the course conclusion work investigates the Education of Youth and Adults in Humaitá-AM, proposed to investigate the following questions: What are the advances and challenges in access, permanence and quality in the education offered to youth and adults? The objectives of this research were: To analyze the Advances and Challenges in the access, permanence and quality of Education of Youth and adults in Humaitá-AM. In addition to: Understanding the historical context and policies of EJA in Brazil; Understand the concepts of access, permanence and quality of EJA in Humaitá-AM; Check the access and quality data of EJA in Humaitá-AM. Through the quantitative and qualitative methodological approach, bibliographic research and documentary research were used in the methodological procedures, in which statistical data were analyzed from the website of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira-Inep in statistical synopses. The time frame of this research is delimited in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019. The data obtained from the bibliographic and documentary research demonstrate that in EJA there are still many challenges to be faced, combated urgently to obtain solutions and thus guarantee the youth and adults access to education and seek ways for this student to remain in it, with quality, compromised and always respecting the individuals who are within the classroom. This is a teaching modality still with an ineffective approach and which faces several difficulties since its implementation. This demonstrates that there are gaps in the curriculum, in hiring professionals and in pedagogical methodologies
