Therefore, the improvement of research collaborates to reduce the incidence of some factors that degrade structures, since the emergence of pathological processes in structural and constructive elements are increasingly common. Thus, this work observed the structural conditions of the administrative building of the Brazilian Red Cross of Amazonas and identified the degradations present in the structural system. From that, the pathological manifestations recognized during the visual inspections were registered through images and mapped according to the location of the structural parts of the building. After that, the test responsible for verifying the possibility of the existence of the carbonation process in the studied building structure was carried out, through the application of the phenolphthalein test. Finally, the study exposed the results regarding the deterioration conditions verified in the building, which can compromise the durability and safety of the enterprise, exposing the need for recovery procedures. Considerando o atual contexto da construção civil, percebe-se que os estudos em busca de sistemas construtivos mais eficientes têm ganhado destaque. Diante disso, o aprimoramento das pesquisas colabora para a redução da incidência de alguns fatores que degradam as estruturas, visto que, o surgimento de processos patológicos em elementos estruturais e construtivos são cada vez mais comuns. Sendo assim, este trabalho observou as condições estruturais do edifício administrativo da Cruz Vermelha Brasileira do Amazonas e identificou as degradações presentes no sistema estrutural. A partir disso, as manifestações patológicas reconhecidas ao longo das inspeções visuais foram registradas através de imagens e mapeadas conforme a localização das peças estruturais do edifício. Após isso, foi realizado o ensaio com aplicação de fenolftaleína para a verificação da condição do pH, se reduzido ou não nos elementos estruturais, situação essa que possibilita o processo de carbonatação na estrutura.
