Knowing that, the research’s goal is about the impact and incision in the stories in comic books in the social culture and its applicability in the library. It’s made a research in comparative method of an applied nature and with a qualitative approach is carried out, furthermore, it was used the bibliographic research to intent to do a survey of information on the subject. The scientific analysis occurred with the Google Academic utilization. With this information, is possible to note the results achieved show the real importance of the stories in the comic books in the library, inasmuch as, it can be used to assistance as source of information and contribute in reading formation. Tendo em vista que o conteúdo das histórias em quadrinhos é criticado como material sem importância, a pesquisa aborda sobre os quadrinhos na biblioteca, a fim de esclarecer que as HQs podem ser utilizadas como fonte de informação e agregar valor ao leitor. Desse modo, a pesquisa possui como objetivo discorrer o impacto e inserção das histórias em quadrinhos na cultura social e sua aplicabilidade na biblioteca. Realiza-se uma pesquisa de método comparativo de caráter exploratório, de natureza aplicada e com abordagem qualitativa, além disso, foi utilizada a pesquisa bibliográfica com o intuito de fazer um levantamento das informações a respeito do assunto. A análise cientifica ocorreu através da utilização de um buscador, o Google acadêmico.
