Deals with the teaching and learning process of the students of the Rural Education course
based on the formation of scientific concepts, generated from the contributions of the
Historical-Cultural Theory, in dialogue with the Arts and Rural Education. I understand in
this research that the concepts that the students develop regarding the contents worked are
important for the formation of their superior psychic functions, fundamental so that they can
have a more complete development throughout their learning. The research site was the
Federal University of Tocantins, Campus of Tocantinópolis, with students of the Degree in
Rural Education with qualification in Arts and Music. The data collection took place in the
period of 5 months, which included the University Time and Community Time, between July
and November of 2018. The teaching of scientific concepts (theoretical thinking/dialectical
logic) had an importance and relevance for the development of research and for the collection
of data for the area of study and, mainly, for me, as researcher. Thus, the mediation of
knowledge can be more dynamic, from the knowledge of the phenomena of reality of which
the object of study is inserted. It is important to emphasize that this research had as a method
the Didactic-Formative Experiment, as well as a descriptive and bibliographic character, since
it was also based on theoretical studies for its development. The data generated in this
research and analyzed allows us to conclude that comics can be an important pedagogical tool
to help in the formation of concepts of students of the countryside. When analyzing the
questionnaires carried out with the studied class, as well as the observed classes of the
discipline of comics, it was possible to verify that in almost all the speeches, the comics
produced the students to understand what this language means, how it is constituted and how
it can relate to its context, representing its reality. In this context, the reading and writing
made for the productions of the comics books was also important for these students, because
they helped him to understand how the arts, reading and writing interconnect and relate to one
another, dialectically. It was possible to identify that in almost all the speeches, the
importance of the visual arts is present for the aid of the visual reading and for the
understanding of the verbal and visual histories, what is important so that they can advance in
the contents worked through the discipline. It is important to form scientific (theoretical)
concepts and not get them ready, since it is from them that the individual develops mental
actions about a particular object studied, analyzed or researched of their reality, which
promotes a progress in their learning and development of their higher psychic formations.
Thus, for Historical-Cultural theory, to form this kind of concept makes the individual think,
reason, and not get something ready, as traditional teaching already does in most schools. |
