Learning can be lighter and more interesting when you have the help of didactic resources that provide this, such as the playful game. The ludic can be much more than just a game, but a method of supporting the disciplinary content. By inserting alternative methodologies for teaching, the results go far beyond "learning", also serving as motivation for students and placing them as part of the learning process. In this context, the game “Unraveling the organic functions” was created with the aim of facilitating the understanding of organic functions and the nomenclature of organic compounds, through the use of playful methodologies. This game was based on a traditional board game and developed in a public school in the city of Itacoatiara, through a qualitative-quantitative research with the application of an open interview with students and teacher of the discipline and a pre- and post-game questionnaire. The results obtained in this research indicated a great acceptance of the interviewees, in addition to showing that the students learned better the content worked, facilitating teaching and learning. In view of this, it was observed how important is the inclusion of other teaching resources in the teaching-learning of students.
