Habitation in the construction of greater importance developed by humanity, been among the first ones realized. This work aims to demonstrate conceptualization and development of habitaiton itself, also the process that took to the necessity of social housing and how that progressed in diverse models until coming to the stabilished today. Also, the importancy of constructive development and social together with environment, on susteinable manner, following the three basic parameters for it: economy, society and environment. Brazil is the country with the 6th larger global population, fact reflected on the housing deficit. Even that have been efforts to suply it for decades, that hasn’t been erased due to the accelerated population growth of the 2nd half of the 20th century. That way, many expontaneous and irregular occupations still occur, aggravating urban problems and city development. The project aims to attend this need, through data survey and revitalization of the area now occupied, seeking attend to housing, environmental and urban needs, with a model able of integrating the buildings on the housing blocks, and this to the city.
