This study entitled "Psychomotor Development in the Pedagogical Practice of Early Childhood Education of the Jaime Lobato Educational Center" aims to know the importance of psychomotricity for child development, as well as to investigate how psychomotor development practice happens in a classroom of the Jaime Lobato Parintins/AM Children's Educational Center. The study is a field and bibliographic research with a qualitative approach (TEIXEIRA, 2009). For data collection, the open questionnaire was applied with 4 teachers from different classes of Early Childhood Education. This study is based on the authors Wallon (1995), Le Boulch (1988), Vitor da Fonseca (1998), Winnicott (1975), among others who discuss the importance of psychomotricity, its functions, practices, phases and contributions to education. Psychomotricity is a set of educational actions based on the conception of movement that contributes to the learning process of children using movements to achieve other skills. Thus, the research achieved the expected objective, understanding how psychomotricity is developed in the pedagogical practice of the teacher knowing its importance for child development.
