Resumo:
In the post-industrial revolution society, it is observed that the production of consumer goods on a large scale, accelerated urbanization and population swelling in cities erupted in a rise in the production of urban waste material. All this scenario has intensified the crisis environment and, despite the existence of more efficient technologies and alternatives, authorities and managers continue to opt for solid waste management methods outdated. In view of this, the present work proposes the conception of the Complex of solid waste recovery Re-plant, a multifunctional urban equipment formed by facilities that enable processes related to the management of recyclable waste and other good environmental practices, using as an instrument the promotion of activities of a industrial, educational, social and vocational. Furthermore, it is intended to grant spaces that fill underused urban landscapes, adding value to local identity through a park that includes activities of civic-cultural interest for the general public associated with the recycling complex facilities.
