By choosing to present the work “Curumim e Cunhatã Surdos em Cordéis Sim Senhor@” from the perspective of writing questions related to the importance of building identities through cultural artifacts and their linguistic development, collaborating with deaf leadership in subjectivity when common experiences produce cultural artifacts. The author requires expressing through this work the importance of how these cultural artifacts produce in themselves the construction of the deaf subject's identity and subjectivity. For the creation of this work, the author sought to focus on studies on the deaf culture of Strobel 2008, where the researcher and author of the book “The images of the other on deaf culture”, writes about the cultural artifacts of the deaf community, a book used to study and creation of the work Curumim and Cunhatã Surdos in Cordéis Sim Senhor. O presente trabalho busca apresentar o livro Curumim e Cunhatã Surdos em Cordéis? Sim Senhor, que foi criado comtemplando a área de literatura surda e estudos culturais. Para realizar este trabalho possuímos como objetivo analisar a importância dos artefatos culturais da comunidade surda e a sua importância para a sociedade, à pesquisa articula-se em torno da seguinte problematização: Porque os artefatos culturais da comunidade surda tem relação nas construções de identidade e subjetividade do sujeito surdo em seu processo de desenvolvimento, e como entender os artefatos culturais através de tradições próprias desse povo. Para tanto realizaremos a pesquisa bibliográfica para atender aos seguintes objetivos específicos: a) analisar a importância da cultura surda e a sua história; b) conhecer os artefatos culturais da comunidade surda. O estudo demostrou como a importância histórica da cultura surda influência na presença dos artefatos culturais e o mesmo internaliza e desenvolve essa cultura, esse povo. No inicio estes artefatos eram estudados de forma estética esquecendo-se de olhar pontos importantes que os próprios artefatos carregam que é a “cultura”. A segunda parte desse trabalho demostrou como estes artefatos culturais vem se estruturando, de onde vêm esses artefatos? Como de fato podemos compreender esses artefatos culturais nas representações do povo surdo, como eles são vistos e internalizados pela comunidade surda.
