Introduction: Adolescence promotes biopsychosocial transformations such as increased independence and development of autonomy in decision- making about lifestyle practices and behaviors, as it can also positively or negatively influence lifestyle. The nutritional profile can be described by the qualitative-quantitative analysis of food consumption and anthropometric assessment. The evaluation of anthropometry is an essential tool for the formation of nutritional diagnosis in schoolchildren. The concern with physical activity arises from data from the 2009 National School Health Survey (PeNSE), a study that revealed that 56.9% of Brazilian adolescents do not meet the recommendations for physical activity, in addition to the regional ones. Objective: To analyze the nutritional and physical activity profile of adolescent schoolchildren through a systematic review. Methods: systematic review through the following databases: Google Scholar, Scielo, Medline (PUBMED) and Lilacs with the following search terms in Portuguese and English: nutritional profile and physical activity of schoolchildren, nutritional profile and physical activity of schoolchildren. Results: After research, screening and selection in the literature, 5 articles were selected. Conclusion: Schoolchildren with a better and healthier nutritional profile tend to have better levels of activity and physical fitness, thus having better results in the required tests, however, it is noticed that many have a nutritional profile considered low due to lack of guidance. In this sense, I highlight the fundamental role of the school physical education teacher to provide a better way to present the best nutritional choices, so that adolescents leave schools with better eating habits and thus can become a healthier adult.
