Thus, the objective of this research is to show how Public Relations professionals can be represented in cinema, by comparing the behavior of the character in the film with that of a Public Relations professional. The methods of the bibliographical study were: basic, descriptive and qualitative research. Thus, in order to undertake this understanding, during the research, the discussion was held about historical, practical and theoretical elements of Public Relations, which contribute to the discussion of the cinematographic narrative of the character and for this, analyses were made of scenes that can relate the character Lionel Logue with the Public Relations professional. The results achieved with this research are to show that the representation of a Public Relations professional happens in many ways, and there is a range of opportunities to use communication knowledge to help improve their image and ethical values. O presente estudo tem como tema, as práticas de Relações Públicas apresentada no cinema, observando as principais atividades dessa profissão, realizadas no filme “O discurso do Rei” 2010, objetivando compreender como as técnicas de Relações Públicas apresentadas pelo personagem Lionel Logue são importantes para a construção de um entendimento que permite ter um impacto sobre um determinado público e acrescentar valor às atividades que representa. Assim, o objetivo desta pesquisa é mostrar como os profissionais de relações-públicas podem ser representados no cinema, ao comparar o comportamento do personagem do filme com o de um profissional de Relações Públicas. Os métodos do estudo bibliográfico tiveram como tipo de pesquisa: básica, descritiva e qualitativa. Assim, no sentido de empreender essa compreensão, durante a pesquisa, a discussão foi realizada acerca de elementos históricos, práticos e teóricos das Relações Públicas, que contribuem para a discussão da narrativa cinematográfica do personagem e para isso foram feitas análises de cenas que podem relacionar o personagem Lionel Logue com o profissional de Relações Públicas.
