XX - Brasil Censura This article is an excerpt from the Scientific Initiation research (FAPEAM) entitled "POETRY AS RESISTENCE TO THE MILITARY REGIME", and aims to analyze the contribution of Chico Buarque de Holanda's music in partnership in the construction of social criticism of Brazilian poetry produced during the military dictatorship. The corpus of analysis consists of 01 song by the composer: “Cálice”. The work proposal is, through this object of analysis, to point out some relationships between the military regime and music, in order to show one of the facets of language, the game between apparent meaning and possible meanings. The work will be developed through bibliographic research, based on the reading and analysis of some authors, such as Borges (2004), Filho (2007), Homem (2009), Jutgla (2013) and Koch (2004). Chico Buarque de Holanda was an author engaged in the social struggles of his time, bringing in his works a constructive essence in order to make us reflect on our conduct as a constituent part of the country's sociopolitical system. In view of this perspective, it is relevant to search for greater depth in the author's works, as they contribute significantly to the construction of opinion formers. O presente artigo é um recorte da pesquisa de Iniciação Científica (FAPEAM) intitulada “A POESIA COMO RESISTÊNCIA AO REGIME MILITAR”, e tem como objetivo analisar a contribuição da música de Chico Buarque de Holanda em parceria na construção da crítica social da poesia brasileira produzida durante a ditadura militar. O corpus de análise é constituído por 01 canção do compositor: “Cálice”. A proposta de trabalho é, por meio desse objeto de análise, apontar algumas relações entre o regime militar e a música, com o intuito de mostrar uma das facetas da linguagem, o jogo entre o sentido aparente e os sentidos possíveis. O trabalho será desenvolvido por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, fundamentada na leitura e análise de alguns autores, como Borges (2004), Filho (2007), Homem (2009), Jutgla (2013) e Koch (2004). Chico Buarque de Holanda foi um autor engajado nas lutas sociais de sua época, trazendo em suas obras uma essência construtiva no sentido de nos fazer refletir sobre as nossas condutas como parte constituinte do sistema sociopolítico do país.
