This strictly bibliographical research aimed to understand, from publications between 2012-2022, the conception of moral harassment and how it has been characterized and treated in (and by) federal public universities in Brazil. Through a systematic review, 09 articles in total, we describe how these publications theoretically explored the key concepts that underlie the Moral Harassment category and its consequences. We found that the description of the Harassment typology, as well as knowing the symptoms, corroborate for a better identification of the phenomenon. We then investigated how the health of workers in situations of harassment, reported in the publications, had been affected, arriving at the result that workers suffer from physical and psychological symptoms and consequences that also affect their social life. Finally, we verified in the publications which interventions and/or programs were used in dealing with and facing the issue of moral harassment. And, due to the low number of interventions, we came to the conclusion that there is a field that needs to be further explored. The results obtained showed us that studies on moral harassment in federal universities are in an embryonic phase, with a greater movement of publications in the south of the country. . That it is important to know the phenomenon and that prevention campaigns promote workers' awareness as well as health promotion, quality of life, more dignity in the work environment. |
