This article aims to analyze the role of Psychology in the face of the phenomenon of moral
harassment in the context of work, considering its implications for worker health. In this way,
considering its particularities, and observing the possibilities of coping, to mitigate the damage
imposed by the work system fostered by capitalist logic. The research problem consists of
verifying moral harassment in the workplace and how the psychologist can contribute to the
worker, analyzing the paths found by Social Work Psychology to create support strategies for
workers who have suffered Moral Harassment, and also means of prevention. and awareness.
The research is justified by understanding that the investigation into the possibilities for
psychologists to act in cases of moral harassment is of great relevance as it involves social and
individual aspects, and also ends up being a problem of major proportions, which ends up
crossing the division of classes, social inequalities, but also the intersection between gender and
race, which are essential indicators for understanding the Brazilian reality. The research
methodology will be guided by qualitative/quantitative research and bibliographic review on
the topic. Bibliographic review research is prepared based on secondary material or sources,
that is, on material already prepared which will provide a more robust and concise theoretical
foundation.
