This work is based on the need for organizations to constantly seek ways to optimize their processes in order to reduce or eliminate losses caused by activities that do not add value. With this in mind, the work consists of proposing an improvement in the factory layout of a medium packaging company in the industrial center of Manaus through the application of the SLP method (Systematic Layout Planning) in order to find the appropriate physical arrangement so that it is possible to optimize the production process of in order to reduce the distance of transport routes, which will consequently reduce the time needed to transport volumes from one sector to another. Through the analyzes carried out by the SLP method, it was possible to elaborate a proposal for a physical arrangement where the sectors that have a high rate of movement and interaction would be closer, optimizing the transport between them, this represented an improvement of 9.12% in relation to the arrangement current physique. |
