The Annonaceae family is a large-scale family, being distributed among the
tropics, with dominance in the American continent and encompassing more than 2400
species within more than 110 genera. Guatteria olivacea R. E. Fries is a species of
predominance in the Amazon biome, popularly known as "envireira", "envira-preta",
"envira-bobó", among others. It usually has long trees and dark leaves, and its fruit is
called "ata" or "araticum", typical of its family. This monographic work carried out the
phytochemical study of the alkaloid fraction of the G.olivacea bark (FACGO), using
conventional chromatographic techniques (column chromatography, CC, analytical
and preparative thin layer chromatography, CCDA and CCDP, as well as
spectroscopic techniques, such as NMR of 1H and 13C, and spectrometric (MS), to help
in the structural elucidation of the compounds. Since this is a continuation of the work
once interrupted by Manickchand, the study sought to extensively and completely
extend the study of the species, in which it made possible the isolation of seven
substances, all novel in the species, among them one novel in the literature: (S1)
melosmine, (S2) 9-Hydroxyiguattescine, (S5) unpublished alkaloid, (S6) lysicamine,
(S7) dihydromelosmine, (S8) guattouregidine, and (S9) acanthoic acid. The previous
study by Manickchand (2021) had allowed the isolation of two other substances: (S3)
isopiline and (S4) O-methylisopiline, totaling 9 substances unpublished in the species
at the end of the complete study, which translates great results aiming at future studies
with the species, seeing its chemophenetic importance compared to other species of
its genus. |
