Resumo:
This Course Completion work was developed within the scope of the UFAM/IEAA Pedagogy Course, whose objective is to show formative and practical experiences of teachers, beginners or not, in Early Childhood Education about their teaching approach in early childhood education. The methodology used corresponds to qualitative methods, whose data production instrument was the questionnaire. Thus, the participants chosen to take part in this research were teachers who have been working for at least three years in early childhood education in the municipal public network of Humaitá/AM. The authors used were Gatti, Barreto (2009), Diniz-Pereira (2008 ), Guaiano and Araújo (2017), Huberman (1995), Severino (2007), Hofmann (2001), Moro (2007), Kuenzer (2003), Brandão (1995), Gil (2008), Marques (2013), Libâneo (1994) and others who discuss and articulate this researched theme, whose approach specifically discusses the concepts of early childhood education, teacher training and pedagogical practices. The results point out that initial undergraduate training is important for the development of good pedagogical practices in early childhood education, as well as understanding how UFAM's institutional programs aimed at academic training provide opportunities for the production of the teaching identities of its students. The research also shows that experiencing the practice in initial training is very important for undergraduate students to experience the reality of schools up close.
