This report describes the production process of the documentary video “A look at the history of the Novo Horizonte newspaper”, whose objective is to present the history of the Novo Horizonte newspaper, from its implementation to the end of its activities. The research has a qualitative approach and an applied nature. In the theoretical foundation, themes about the history of journalism in Parintins and documentary production stand out: Puccini (2012) and Bill Nichols (2005). It’s based on data collection through field research, with interviews with journalists and collaborators who somehow contributed to the newspaper's history. From this work, it is possible to understand the role played by Novo Horizonte in journalism in Parintins. |
