This prejudice is the source of constant violence and violations of rights to this minority group, which directly affects the quality of life of the LGBT+ person. Knowing this, it is inherent to the investigation and analysis of existing public policies that seek to encompass this portion of the population, paying attention to knowing the fragility in its implementation and enforcement of rights, as well as seeking to understand whether the services correspond to their real needs. In view of this, this research had the general objective of analyzing public policies aimed at the LGBT+ population in the city of Manaus/AM, in order to achieve this objective, with the following specific purposes: identifying public policies aimed at this group; to characterize the predominant forms of violence in this public; discuss the effectiveness of services promoted by the State for this population segment in the reality of Manaus. With regard to the theoretical- methodological contribution that was used as the basis for carrying out this research, Marx's historical-dialectical materialism was his guiding method. Regarding the methodological procedures, the research was carried out in a bibliographical way and the instruments used were books, scientific articles, booklets, journalistic articles, dossiers and atlases, which were collected from various sources such as: Google academic, Scielo, the institution's virtual library, websites of the government of the State of Amazonas and the Municipality of Manaus. Finally, it stands out as one of the results revealed was the finding that there is a deficit of data involving the services that are offered to the LGBT+ community in the city of Manaus, which makes it difficult for this community to access the realization of rights through public services. A reality that highlights the urgency of public policies that meet the needs and demands of the LGBT+ Community and guarantee their rights. O preconceito voltado à comunidade LGBT+ é detentor de raízes profundas dentro da sociedade brasileira, sendo disseminado ao longo dos anos em diferentes esferas e contextos sociais. Este preconceito é a origem das constantes violências e violações de direitos a esse grupo minoritário, o que afeta diretamente na qualidade de vida da pessoa LGBT+. Sabendo disso, se faz inerente a investigação e a análise das políticas públicas existentes que buscam englobar essa parcela da população, se atentando em conhecer a fragilidade na sua implementação e efetivação de direitos, bem como buscando compreender se os serviços correspondem as suas reais necessidades. Diante disso, essa pesquisa teve como objetivo geral analisar as políticas públicas voltadas para a população LGBT+ na cidade de Manaus/AM, visando assim alcançar este objetivo, constituíram-se como propósitos específicos: identificar as políticas públicas destinadas a esse grupo; caracterizar as formas de violência predominantes neste público; discutir sobre efetivação dos serviços promovidos pelo Estado para esse segmento populacional na realidade manauara. No que se refere ao aporte teórico-metodológico que foi utilizado como base para a realização desta pesquisa, o materialismo histórico-dialético de Marx foi o seu método norteador. No tocante aos procedimentos metodológicos a pesquisa foi desenvolvida de forma bibliográfica e os instrumentos utilizados foram livros, artigos científicos, cartilhas, matérias jornalísticas, dossiês e atlas, que foram coletados de diversas fontes como: Google acadêmico, Scielo, biblioteca virtual da instituição, sites do governo do Estado do Amazonas e do Município de Manaus. Por fim, destaca-se como um dos resultados revelados foi a constatação que existe um déficit de dados envolvendo os serviços que são oferecidos à comunidade LGBT+ na cidade de Manaus, o que dificulta o acesso desta comunidade a efetivação de direitos por meio dos serviços públicos.
