The article develops the idea that the geographical invention of the Amazon results from projected space issues, some concrete, others virtual, delineated as occupation forms and territory domains. Finally the text points that such actions are almost always disrespected and, to surpass this vision that in certain way predominates over the analyses about the Amazon, we must consider, beyond the macrostructures, the simple things and the experience of day-by-day. O artigo discute a partir da análise das várias territorialidades, a formação das sociedades locais influenciadas por interferências externas na cultura e na natureza. O artigo desenvolve a ideia de que a invenção geográfica da Amazônia resulta de espacialidades projetadas, umas concretizadas, outras virtuais, delineadas como formas de ocupação e domínio do território.
