To understand the role of the Amazon cities, this article argues about their space and time as a way to regain control points on the territory which presupposes understanding the role of cities. Then, the text describes the research undertaken on Amazon’s urban network, presenting the types of cities which helps to understand the complexity of the urban in Amazon, although not yet ready. The concluding part of the article discusses about cities of nature and the nature of the city as a product, environment and control of Amazon’s past and
present territories by different social subjects. |
