Remote regions of the the urbanized metropolis encounter difficulties in adopting a traditional sewage treatment system due to their socioeconomic, political and environmental conditions. It is in this scenario that decentralized treatment systems emerge, which aim to deal with the liquid waste generated without the need for major structural interventions. The configurations, characteristics and design parameters of the constructed wetlands (WC) demonstrate that it has great potential for adaptation and efficiency in the Amazon, however there are few studies focused on the dimensioning of this in the region. Through the state of the art were raised references and recommendations were raised to guide future deployments of WC treatment units in isolated and rural areas of Amazonas. The purpose of the research is the constitution of a compilation of information about the parameters and criteria of sizing and the techniques of execution considering the characteristics of the state. Through the analysis of the data collected, the expectations about the operation of the constructed wetlands were remarkable, however studies are still needed aimed at the adequacy of these variables to the local characteristics, in order to evaluate the real efficiency of the system in the treatment of domestic sewage. |
