Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder-ADHD is a disorder that appears in the first years of life, affecting 5% in this phase and 2.5% of adults. Statistician of Mental Disorders 5th edition) its main characteristic is the distraction because the individual finds it very difficult to stay focused and perform his activities; from the age of three, its characteristics become much more noticeable. As the school is characterized not only to receive them from a very early age, but also to welcome them with all their diversities, it is therefore essential that this environment is qualified, with teachers trained to develop work that recognize these singularities and ensure their rights, essentially the right to school education. So, given these considerations, this research aimed to investigate how the initial training of teachers is taking place to work with children who have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Methodologically, he opted for the bibliographic and documental path, based on laws, decrees, acts that defend the right to education and, fundamentally, quality education, as well as and in particular, he focused on a preliminary analysis of seven Curricula of the Pedagogy courses of Federal Universities located in northern Brazil. As a result, curricula were obtained that open space for dialogue on the theme presented and others that are not flexible to recent disorders. |
