The research analyzed the effects of the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP) on the comprehensive
training of high school students, focusing on the subjunt. of Physical Education, in a public school in
Parintins, Amazonas. The study investigated how the presence of Physical Education residentes
influences school dynamics, exploring students' perception of the relevance of the program, the impact
on Physical Education classes and its influence on comprehensive training. Through questionnaires and
qualitative analyses, the results indicated that the majority of students recognize the importance of PRP
and understands its positive influence, both in classes and in other school experiences. The results also
revealed that the PRP influences the comprehensive training of students, since This is not just a
biological being, but a social, thinking, and culturally active being. Therefore, we conclude that the PRP
awakens the student's protagonism and encourages them to participate in classes, in addition, the PRP
has become a partner in the construction of cultural, social, ethical and moral values. Of that Therefore,
we can say that PRP plays a crucial role in the training of high school students medium, preparing them
to work in society. Due to the lack of references that discuss the theme presented, the researchers suggest that academic and scientific circles explore this field, in order to carry out more studies on the topic.
