Fleet management is the set of strategies and practices used to efficiently oversee a fleet of vehicles, including acquisition, maintenance, tracking, driver safety, and cost control. This study aimed to analyze the management of the vehicle fleet at an electric utility dealership in the city of Manaus, adopting a qualitative descriptive approach. To conduct the research, a case study was carried out in which data was collected through document review and unstructured interviews with the fleet management supervisor. The collected information was analyzed to assess performance indicators, fleet control, costs, preventive maintenance, and the use of technologies. The study's results indicate that the company's fleet management department employs Excel spreadsheets, dynamic reports, and fuel, maintenance, and telematics management systems to oversee and keep the 144 vehicles that make up the company's fleet in operation. With the management tools used by the company, they are able to ensure a fleet availability of over 90%, control preventive maintenance, real-time monitoring and control of the fleet, and maintain an average fuel consumption within appropriate levels.
