This present work proposes a public park project that aims to encourage people's belonging within the urban environment. Thus, it shows up
as a connecting instrument, since the park's position in the city is at a point of
rupture, in the physical and also social sense.
One of the premises for designing it is to give new meaning to its place as a part of the
urban fabric without forgetting its history, considering the fire that occurred in 2012. Thus, this
area of intervention calls for designing it as an urban park and a park of the memory and culture
of Manaus.
As a final result, a proposal is presented that relies on the application of research carried
out throughout the development of this Final Graduation Work, with the aim of returning public
space to people, developing urban awareness, leisure, strengthening social relations of its agents
and the insertion of the natural environment within the city
