Resumo:
The present work addresses the study and development of the project of an Indigenous School Center, located in the Parque das Tribos community, in the Tarumã-Açu neighborhood, aiming at an architecture capable of being part of the educational process of indigenous people, in order to incorporate the traditions and knowledge of these peoples and what is meant by indigenous school education. The vulnerability of indigenous people in urban situations, regarding access to urban equipment, the continuity of their traditions, recognition and belonging, justifies the research and guides the objectives of the architectural project. This, in turn, for its implementation, required studies relating to Indigenous School Education, Indigenous Architecture and School Architecture, as well as carrying out a diagnosis of the chosen lot and case studies. Thus, a needs program is created, parallel to the conceptualization, based on the analyzes and bibliography carried out previously. In the end, a design proposal emerges that aims to be an active component in the learning process of its users, while at the same time offering a space for the community to enjoy. The incorporation of forms of indigenous spatial appropriation in the project brings a sense of belonging to its target users, in addition to automatically providing a bioclimatic architecture.
