This paper has as its theme Diagnosis of Institutional Arrangements of Public Policies to Support the Commercialization of Handicrafts in the City of Parintins/AM and aims to identify the public policies that promote the development of the handicraft sector in Parintins/AM, analyze and evaluate them, having a research theoretically based on authors such as Freitas (2017), Lima (2010), Pereira (1979). The study verified the main public policies to support the economic sector of handicrafts, and despite policies, incentives and financial resources applied, the support does not reach the intended market, so that the artisan is limited to the seasonal period and vulnerable to social and economic conditions. Thus, there is a need for effective public policies and incentives to generate greater opportunities, through innovative actions and programs that aim to value the artisan and their traded products. It is concluded that the research focused on public policies, practices and models, and the results obtained through the collection of information, policies and obstacles were evaluated, in order to clarify the problem with an efficient study, so that future contributions in the academic sphere and in the business activities of the craft trade in Parintins/AM.
