This work gives a descriptive account of the observations made during the course:
Supervised Curricular Internship of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education in Sports
Training at the Faculty of Physical Education and Physiotherapy of the Federal University of
Amazonas (FEFF-UFAM), in the areas of Individual Sport, Collective Sport and Sports
Management. The aim is to describe the activities carried out, the experiences had and the
lessons learned during the internship. It was carried out at the Vila Olímpica Foundation
(FVO) during the first semester of 2024-1, through observations and bibliographical research.
From these experiences, it was possible to see that the internship is the time to put into
practice the learning absorbed during the undergraduate course, transforming this extremely
important moment into a unique experience, with the aim of providing outstanding guidance
in the care of student-athletes and enabling better professional training. The Bachelor's degree
in Physical Education turns the professional towards the non-school environment in their area
of expertise, i.e. gyms, SPAs, sports associations and so on, places that provide physical
activity practices, whether for leisure or high performance. The supervised internship is an
essential stage in the training of the bachelor in Physical Education, providing practical
experience of the theoretical knowledge acquired during the course.
