Aspidosperma nitidum, is a plant from the Apocynaceae family, popularly known in the Amazon region as carapanaúba or perolaba, used in traditional medicine as a potential antimalarial agent, in the treatment of leishmaniasis, inflammation of the uterus and ovary, as contraceptives, in diabetes, in problems stomach, against cancer, fever and rheumatism. Therefore, two substances were isolated from the methanolic extract by HPLC (F1314_21 and F1314_30), resulting in masses of 1.2 mg and 1.6 mg respectively, which were later concentrated and sent for 1H NMR analysis. In addition to evaluating the methanolic extract through Liquid Chromatography Coupled to Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS), resulting in three peaks with greater intensity: m/z 427.2210; m/z 557.1763 and m/z 571.1924 with their fragmentations carried out in order to propose a structure. For m/z 571, the fragmentation and structure proposal were successful, with mention in the literature that it would be a new substance for the Aspidosperma nitidum species called deoxycordifolin. |
