The city of Parintins already had two other areas for garbage disposal. Currently, the Parintins Waste Bin, today called Controlled Landfill, as a result of the latest initiatives promoted by the City Hall for waste treatment, continues to be an unsolved problem. In this documentary, we chose to use the term Dumpster due to the lack of operational aspects consistent with the assumptions in the National Solid Waste Policy. The documentary exposes reports of people who suffer directly from the impacts of the lack of proper treatment of waste generated in the city. Given the complexity of its theme, the research is of a basic nature, carried out through a Case Study, which aimed to produce an expository documentary, having Nichols (2016) as a theoretical assumption, with 5 residents and 4 public agents whose activities are directly or indirectly related to the impacts of the Parintins dump. For this, it opted for direct observation and semi-structured interview as a research technique and technical instrument for the elaboration of the final product. Finally, the documentary shows the families who live close to Lixeira and who are living in a context of social, environmental and health vulnerability. It also shows that actions by the Government need to be improved and that the National Solid Waste Policy requires implementation in terms of proper disposal of waste. Este relatório descreve o processo de produção do documentário “Lixeira de Parintins: segregados ou agregados”, no qual se evidencia a situação vivida por centenas de famílias que vivem nas proximidades da Lixeira. A cidade de Parintins já contou com duas outras áreas destinadas à disposição do lixo. Atualmente, a Lixeira de Parintins, hoje denominada de Aterro Controlado, em decorrência das últimas iniciativas promovidas pela Prefeitura para tratamento do lixo, continua sendo um problema sem solução. Neste documentário opta-se pelo uso do uso do termo Lixeira em razão da inexistência de aspectos operacionais coerentes com os pressupostos na Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos. O documentário expõe relatos das pessoas que sofrem diretamente com os impactos da falta de tratamento adequado do lixo gerado na cidade. Diante da complexidade de sua temática, a pesquisa é de natureza básica, realizada por meio de um Estudo de Caso, a qual teve como objetivo a produção de um documentário expositivo, tendo como pressuposto teórico Nichols (2016), tendo como personagens 5 moradores e 4 agentes públicos cujas as atividades estão relacionadas de forma direta ou indireta com os impactos da Lixeira de Parintins. Para isso, optou pela observação direta e entrevista semi-estruturada como técnica de pesquisa e instrumento técnico para a elaboração do produto final. Por fim, o documentário mostra as famílias que residem próximas a Lixeira e que estão vivendo em um contexto de vulnerabilidade social, ambiental e sanitária.
